In November of 2010, Phoenix Schools made the decision to move forward with development of a viable and exciting full K-8 program.  For a period of time, there have been questions as to the ability to sustain enrollment in our 6^th – 8^th grade.  However, we have heard clearly from our community that there is a need and a desire to create and expand our program.  To that end, we are committed to take forward our best work and offer the finest and safest program for parents seeking an alternative to public schools for their students at this most vulnerable age.

The right elementary school can make a profound difference in a child’s academic and social development. Since 1993, The Phoenix Schools has partnered with parents to develop high-achieving, confident young scholars. Through our small class sizes and our close knit family, the staff can identify and develop each student’s unique talents and capabilities.

The time spent in our private K-8 school will support these foundational years.  It is during these years that children develop a range and depth of knowledge, social skills, and they begin their journey towards being a lifelong learner. Integrity, attitude, work ethic, confidence and a sense of personal responsibility set the stage for future learning habits.

Our responsibilities to educate our students include helping them develop critical thinking and problem solving skills.  Through our instructional program, we help students develop effective written and oral communication skills.  Students learn to adapt and be flexible in their interactions and work.  Students are encouraged to use their curiosity and imagination as they learn to access and analyze information for decision making.  Students are held to high behavioral standards, using responsibility and respect as the foothold in learning 16 life skills that lead to success in not only educational settings, but in life.
