Hi Mr. Smith,
Thank you very much for reviewing IBM Watson with Barrett and his class last Friday. He talked about it all weekend!!
Both Barrett and Brianna love your class. We’re excited to see them using their laptops so much at home as they build upon the skills they’re learning from your class. Your class is equipping them with the critical computer skills they will need in order to succeed in tomorrow’s workforce.
You are making an important contribution to their education.
Thank you for helping to inspire and motivate your classes each week with the potential of technology.

My son has attended Phoenix Schools since January 1998. At the age of 9 months, he attended the El Dorado Hills Campus, then for first grade he moved to the Folsom Campus. Both locations have professional teachers, staff and principals. I have found the principal and administrative staff to be very responsive and efficient in handling my concerns. Two weeks after the beginning of 6th grade, my son decided he wanted to change his elective from Yearbook to Guitar. With only my short handwritten note to the principal, this request was handled within 1 day. I have found the Principal to be very approachable, available, and responsive.
The teachers are professional, and truly care about the education of my son. Phoenix School uses National Education Standards instead of the California Education Standards. Science class uses hands on experiences to reinforce the textbook material. English class focuses on essay writing, vocabulary, and spelling. The teachers are available by e-mail, or by parent conference. Communication regarding upcoming school events is sent by e-mail from the administrative staff.
I feel my education dollars spent at Phoenix School are an excellent value. My 11 year old son can’t wait to get to school each day, truly enjoys school, and completes his homework without a complaint. This was his first year in Little League, and his Little League coaches were in awe of his sportsmanship and polite conduct. I know Phoenix School Life Skills were an important part of his emotional behavior and development.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for a wonderful Kindergarten year. My son enjoyed all his subjects and he loved all the teachers. We can’t wait to start 1st grade. We spent this summer in Canada, and my son was the only one from his same aged friends and cousins who was able to read fluently and do Math.
You could imagine how proud we were of him.
Your program is very interesting, your teachers are amazing and all your staff are so welcoming.
Thanks a lot for a great education and we can’t wait for the school year to start.

To Whom It May Concern:
The reason I want my child in the Phoenix School is simple… excellence! The Phoenix School provides an environment that is conducive with healthy growth in every area of child development. I want the very best for my child. He deserves to be nurtured by a loving staff that knows him and his needs. He deserves to feel sage in his school and Phoenix ensures his safety in every way. I believe elementary school years are the formative years for higher education and career success. The Phoenix Schools offers an academic program that far surpasses the public schools standards. Preparing my child for his future is of utmost importance to me. Laying a foundation for healthy growth and academic success if one of the greatest gifts I can give my child. The Phoenix School provides everything he needs to have a healthy, happy childhood and a successful future.
Sincerely,Debbie
Wow ~ What can I say about The Phoenix Schools? I’ve been part of the Phoenix family since 1998. I now have a pre-schooler and an Elementary school student enrolled with Phoenix. They both love it! The personal attention they receive from all their teachers makes it a great place for them to be. I know that they are both being well taken care of both academically and socially.
The high standards at Phoenix put both of my children well above their peers academically. My four year old can actually read. Another great thing that I love is the communication and personal attention my children receive from all their teachers. It is important to me to know how and what my children are doing each day. Here at Phoenix I know how my children’s day went and what they did. I am so happy to be part of The Phoenix School family.

Phoenix Parent since 1998
We have been part of the Phoenix family since 2001. Both our sons started in the preschool program for early learning and interaction. As they thrived in preschool we chose to go on to the elementary school. We loved the curriculum and we can’t say enough about the staff and teachers we have had. Phoenix has given our children a wonderful foundation in learning, in values and respect. We have made many friendships in this safe, fun and caring environment. We believe we made the right choice for our sons.

I just wanted to send you a quick note to let you know how impressed we were by Saturday’s open house. The classrooms we visited were beautiful and obviously the product of a great deal of hard work.
We toured Chloe’s current classrooms as well as paying visits to the fourth grade to get a preview for next year. We also enjoyed our visit to Ms. Joy’s classroom (#12 in the main building) and are very much looking forward to Edwin moving in there when he transfers over from the preschool.
All in all the day was a wonderful affirmation of our decision to enroll Chloe and Edwin at Phoenix. Thank you again and congratulations on a job well done.

I am writing to express my appreciation for the educational and developmental experience your school has given my twins. They began attending Phoenix in pre-school, and are now finishing second grade. I must say I have been overwhelmed with the quality of the teaching staff and the overall program phoenix has offered to my children. We first chose Phoenix because our local school (not in the Folsom area) did not offer before-and-after-school care, and my job as a nurse sometimes required working odd hours. We stayed with the Phoenix because of certain teachers, along with the Lifeskill program.
Our first realization of the uniqueness of the Phoenix came in Kindergarten, when Sarah was assigned to Ms. Rose’s class. I was worried about Sarah going into the accelerated K-1 class because she could only write half the alphabet, only knew the sounds of a quarter of the letters, and didn’t show any interest in learning more. I decided to trust your judgment and let her go in the accelerated class, thinking that within a few weeks I would be requesting a traditional Kindergarten class for her. To my surprise, within two weeks Mrs. Rose, with the quiet, patient manner, had Sarah enthusiastic about learning. For career day that fall, Sarah even dressed like Ms. Rose saying she wanted to be a teacher.
In first grade our other daughter Kathryn had Mrs. Crumb. Mrs. Crumb worked with us daily both during school and after hours to help Katie learn to become more self-motivated and focused. When we had Katie evaluated that fall for learning disabilities, Mrs. Crumb asked if she could attend the conference discussing the results so she could “learn how Katie ticks.” Even though the conference was after school on a Friday, Mrs. Crumb stayed until all of my questions had been answered, staying so late that she missed part of her son’s football game that night. Her commitment to my daughter was, and still is, heartwarming. Katie now excels at school, even getting on the honor roll this year.
Mrs. Masterson and Ms. Sudheimer, in second grade, have lived up to our expectations of what Phoenix teachers should be. My girls are on “the right path” educationally, understanding the value of hard work and knowing the joy of learning and of success. The second grade teachers have continued and built upon the academic excellence my children have experienced at Phoenix. Above that, they have continued to focus on the Phoenix Lifeskills, including Courage, Perseverance, Organization, and Respect, among many others. With the help of Phoenix, my children are growing into independent, caring girls who take care of themselves as well as look out for others.
Thank you so much for the gift you and your staff have given my children. No matter where they go in life, I know they will always think of themselves with pride as “Phoenix Kids.” With much appreciation.
Yours very truly,
Meg
It is with my whole heart when I say “Thank you”! to the entire Phoenix Staff. From the first time we walked into the Blue Ravine campus and me Miss Nancy and Miss Daphne 14 years ago, to the Kindergarten Class with Max & Abby, to Mrs. De La Rosa being as excited with Brian’s math skills as I am! Thank you all for being a positive partner in helping to raise my children.

Words cannot fulfill our sincere thanks for making school such an enjoyable and exciting place for Madelyn. It is rare to find such an amazing group of people, teachers and staff included, that truly care about the children under them. I have never questioned the safety, cleanliness, or security of your school, and as a parent, that is such a relief. So, thank you so very much…
Much appreciation and gratitude,
Matt and Amber
Just want to express my sincere thanks to each of you for all your efforts, kindness, and care you have shown not only Carl, but for the entire family as well. Wherever, Carl goes and wherever the future takes him, you (every one of you) have had a positive influence on him. I have watched him mature and gain self confidence while under your tutelage. I’ve seen him come along way since he began at Phoenix, while he still struggles academically, he now knows that he can achieve if he makes the effort. I at a personal level have appreciated your friendship you are a very talented, gifted and wonderful team.
Many, Many, Thanks on my part and that of the family.
Our family has been a part of the Phoenix Schools of many years now. It has become a way of life for us. It is a great, affordable, private school that serves the Folsom community. Phoenix has impacted our children in many positive ways. The most important one of them has been the curriculum. The education plan has been put together well in each area: Language Arts, math, Science and Social Studies. The children are also exposed to Spanish, Music, Art, P.E., and Computers. Being educated according to the National Standards gives a definite edge to our children than if they were to study by California Standards. National level testing from early grades helps the children and the teachers figure out a way to perform better every year. The children are able to hold their own, and even excel, in many areas outside school because they have a very good knowledge of their subjects. Hands on investigations and great field trips add to their knowledge base. Each teacher works tirelessly to help each child succeed. Which brings me to the most important reason for The Phoenix School system is so successful! The teachers! They put in a lot of effort and are always approachable. The kids become their very own! No request is too big for them. And it is always handled with a smile.
We especially enjoyed the various clubs offered to the children, math spelling and geography being some of them. These children are then participating in many competitions and receiving accolades as well.
There are several other principles to the Phoenix School system. Lifeskills are one of them. They are an excellent guiding tool for the social development of our children. From very early on, these are incorporated in daily activities along with letter writing and math!
Phoenix has not only helped our children be exemplary students, but exemplary human beings as well.Thank you!
Sincerely,
Sumeet
