Administration
Our school is supported in their efforts by the Principal, Claudia Sherry.  Mrs. Sherry joined the Phoenix team in July of 2012.  Her background in education spans 22 years, both as a parent of two sons, and as an educator.  She brings her passion for student learning and citizenship to our campus.  She believes that every child can and will learn to their greatest potential given the opportunity through effective instruction.  She also believes that it is through a family’s commitment to education that children will thrive and grow to become productive citizens.

In addition to Mrs. Sherry, Rhonda Short serves on the administrative team to meet the needs of families and staff.  Mrs. Short has been with Phoenix for 13 years enjoying the youngest of our students as former director of our preschool next door.  Her leadership skills and knowledge of Phoenix Schools are an asset to our site as she serves as Resource Administrator.

Either Mrs. Short or Mrs. Sherry will answer questions, speak with visitors, or assist students and families.  They pride themselves in being accessible to the needs of our community.
